High-Resilience (HR) Foam for Mattresses — SPC-1009

SPC-1009 is a fully-formulated high-resilience (HR / high-rebound) polyol system for manufacturing supportive flexible PU foam for mattresses. Unlike slow-recovery memory foam, HR foam springs back fast with high rebound (ball rebound ≥ 45%) and a high comfort factor, giving a buoyant, well-supported sleep surface with excellent durability and breathability. A two-component blended-polyol system (polyol + isocyanate); density and firmness are finely adjustable to your mattress build.

Key Features

High resilience & rebound
Ball rebound ≥ 45% — the foam springs back fast for a buoyant, responsive feel.
High load-bearing support
25% ILD ≥ 120 N and 65% ILD ≥ 315 N for firm, lasting body support.
High comfort factor (≥ 2.8)
An excellent balance of surface softness and deep support.
Outstanding durability
65% compression set ≤ 8% — resists sagging and holds its shape over years.
Good air permeability
Open structure breathes well for cooler, more comfortable sleep.
Simple one-shot moulding
Cold-cure cast moulding — short cycle, high yield, low energy cost.

HR Foam vs. Memory Foam

High-Resilience (this product)
Fast rebound, buoyant and supportive, breathable, durable — ideal for mattresses and seating that need spring-back and support.
Slow-Recovery Memory Foam
Slow recovery, body-contouring, pressure-relieving — offered as our memory-foam pillow grade.

Processing

Cold-Cure Moulding
One-shot cast moulding — short cycle, high yield, low energy use.
Slabstock / Block Foaming
Foam blocks cut into mattress cores and topper sheets.
Two-Component System
Polyol + isocyanate, ratio adjustable for density and firmness.
Machine Compatible
Runs on low- and high-pressure PU foaming machines; vacuum moulding with fabrics supported.

Packaging, Storage & Handling

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference from memory foam?HR (high-resilience) foam springs back fast and feels buoyant and supportive (ball rebound ≥ 45%). Memory foam recovers slowly and contours to the body. This product is HR foam; a slow-recovery memory-foam grade is offered separately.
Is this a finished mattress or a raw material? It is a raw-material polyol system. Combined with isocyanate and foamed, it produces high-resilience foam for mattresses, comfort layers and cushions.
Can density and firmness be adjusted?Yes. Typical density is 40–45 kg/m³ with 25% ILD ≥ 120 N; density and firmness are tunable by formulation for plush or firm builds.
How durable is it?Very durable — 65% compression set ≤ 8% means it resists sagging and keeps its support and shape over years of use.
