PU Elastomer for Wear Liners & Pipe Lining

High-performance cast polyurethane elastomer systems for wear liners and pipe lining — slurry pipe liners, pipe bends & tees, chute and hopper liners, wear plates and hydrocyclone liners. Solid cast PU absorbs impact and resists sliding abrasion far better than steel or rubber, extending equipment life in mining, dredging, bulk-handling and slurry transport. Hardness and chemistry tuned to your medium, particle size and temperature.

Key Features

Superior sliding-abrasion resistance
Outlasts steel and rubber in slurry and bulk-material wear zones.
High impact absorption
Resilient body cushions falling rock and high-velocity slurry, reducing noise and damage.
Lightweight vs. steel/ceramic
Lower mass eases handling, installation and structural load.
Low-friction, non-stick surface
Smooth bore improves slurry flow and reduces build-up and blockages.
Hydrolysis & chemical options
Polyether for wet/aqueous slurries; polyester for dry abrasive and oily media.
Bondable & customizable
Cast into steel pipe/plate or moulded as drop-in liners. Hardness and thickness to spec. OEM/ODM.

Applications

Abrasion-resistant cast PU lined steel pipe bores
Abrasion-Resistant Pipe Lining
Cast PU lined slurry steel pipe with flanges
Lined Slurry Pipe
Cast PU lined steel pipe tee fitting
Lined Bends & Tees
Yellow cast PU wear shields and chute liners
Wear Shields & Chute Liners

Also produced from the same systems: hopper & bin liners, skirtboard liners, hydrocyclone & pump liners, wear plates, launder liners and custom drop-in wear parts.

Casting Processes

Centrifugal Casting
Bonds a uniform PU liner to the bore of steel pipe and bends.
Open-Mold Casting
For wear plates, chute liners and large flat sections.
Insert / Steel Bonding
Cast PU chemically bonded to steel backings and pipe walls.
Automated Casting
Compatible with PU casting machines and automated dispensing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why PU lining instead of steel or rubber?Cast PU combines rubber-like impact absorption with far higher abrasion resistance than steel, so liners last longer in sliding-wear slurry service while staying lighter and easier to install.
Which hardness suits my slurry?Softer grades (Shore A) excel at high-impact, large-particle service; harder grades resist fine, high-velocity sliding abrasion. We advise based on your medium and particle size.
Can PU be bonded inside our existing pipe?Yes. Our systems bond cast PU to the steel bore by centrifugal casting, and to plates and chutes as drop-in or bonded liners.
Do you supply raw material or finished liners? Our core product is the PU elastomer raw-material system; we also offer matched casting machines and moulds so you can produce liners in-house. We reply within 24 hours.
