Frequently Asked Questions

Why PU scrapers instead of steel or rubber?Cast PU resists abrasion far better than rubber and is gentler on the belt than steel — so it cleans thoroughly, lasts longer and avoids scoring the belt cover.
Which hardness should I choose?Softer grades (Shore A80–90) suit primary belt cleaning and printing squeegees; harder grades (A95–D) suit heavy carry-back and abrasive duty. We advise based on your application.
Can the PU be bonded to a steel holder?Yes. We supply systems that bond cast PU to steel back-plates, tensioners and squeegee handles for replaceable-blade designs.
Do you supply raw material or finished blades?Our core product is the PU elastomer raw-material system; we also offer matched casting machines and moulds so you can produce blades in-house. We reply within 24 hours.
