Our low-density foam-in-place packaging material is a two-component polyurethane system that reacts with isocyanate to expand and cure in place, forming a custom shock-absorbing cushion around the packaged item. With an ultra-low free density of 8–10 kg/m³ and ≥ 90% recovery after compression, it delivers excellent shockproof and anti-vibration protection for precision instruments, electronics, optics, glassware and other fragile goods — lightweight, conformable and low-cost.

Key Features
Excellent shock absorption High elasticity absorbs impact and vibration, protecting goods from collision and crushing.
Conforms to any shape Foams in place to fit the item and box exactly, preventing movement and sliding in transit.
Ultra-lightweight Free density 8–10 kg/m³ cuts shipping weight and logistics cost versus traditional packaging.
High recovery ≥ 90% recovery after 50% compression for repeated cushioning performance.
Fast in-situ cure Cream 10–25 s, tack-free 70–90 s — efficient on the packing line.
Customizable formulation Density and reactivity tuned to your products and line. OEM/ODM supported.
Applications
Protective foam-in-place packaging for precision instruments, apparatus, medical & optical instruments, electronics, crafts, fragile goods and glassware.
Line the box Place a plastic film/liner in the carton and position the item to be protected.
2
Mix & dispense Combine the polyol with isocyanate (MDI) and dispense the liquid into the box.
3
Foam in place The foam expands around the item — cream 10–25 s, gel 50–70 s, tack-free 70–90 s.
4
Close & ship The cured cushion locks the item in place; close the box and ship with confidence.
