SPC-10062 Rigid Foam Polyol for Cold Room & Sandwich Panels | PU Panel Material
SPC-10062 water-blown rigid foam polyol for PU insulation panels – cold-room and metal/MgO/OSB-faced sandwich panels. Thermal conductivity <=0.020 W/mK, closed-cell up to 97%, compressive >=220 kPa, B2/B3 fire class (DIN 4102). Two grades; supplied with matched MDI, TDS and MSDS.
SPC-10062 is a fully-formulated polyol blend developed for PU rigid foam insulation panels — cold-room panels and metal-faced or non-metal-faced (MgO, OSB) sandwich panels. It is water-blown to the target density; when mixed with isocyanate (MDI) on suitable equipment, its excellent flowability gives a homogeneous foam density across the full panel cross-section, with strong adhesion to the facing and good dimensional stability. With built-in flame retardant it reaches B2 / B3 (DIN 4102) classification.

Key Features
Low thermal conductivity Down to ≤ 0.020 W/(m·K) for high-R cold-room and building panels.
Homogeneous fill Excellent flowability gives even density across the whole panel cross-section.
Strong facing adhesion Bonds firmly to steel, aluminium, MgO and OSB facers.
High closed-cell content Up to ~97% closed cells — low water absorption and a built-in vapour barrier.
Flame retardant Built-in FR; foams classified B2 / B3 with oxygen index ≥ 28.
Dimensionally stable Stability ≤ 1% — panels stay flat and true in service.
Used for: cold-storage & freezer rooms, refrigerated warehouses, clean rooms, steel-building wall & roof panels, and prefab insulated buildings with metal / MgO / OSB facings. For spray-applied insulation see our closed-cell spray foam (SPC-10072).

Frequently Asked Questions
What facings can it bond to?Steel and colour-coated steel, aluminium, MgO board and OSB / non-metal facers — with strong adhesion across the panel.
What is the fire classification? With built-in flame retardant the foam is classified B2 / B3 (DIN 4102), oxygen index ≥ 28 for the premium grade.
Is it suitable for continuous panel lines?Yes — the good flowability gives even density across the cross-section on both continuous and discontinuous lines. Mould surface ~40 °C is recommended.
Do you also supply MDI?Yes — we supply the matched MDI isocyanate and full technical support. We reply within 24 hours.
