Closed-Cell Slab-Lifting Polyurethane Foam | Concrete Raising Material (1801CC)

Two-component closed-cell slab-lifting polyurethane foam (HFC-245fa) for concrete raising and void filling. Free-rise density >=30 kg/m3, cream 4-6 s, gel 10-20 s, 1:1 ratio. Lifts driveways, floors, pool decks and industrial slabs in minutes. Supplied with TDS/MSDS and matched injection equipment.

Closed-Cell Slab-Lifting Polyurethane Foam (1801CC) is a two-component, spray / injection-applied closed-cell PU system premixed with HFC-245fa. Injected through small ports, it expands under settled concrete to fill voids, compact the soil and lift the slab back to level — fast, clean and far lighter than mudjacking. It cures with high compressive strength, water resistance and chemical / wear resistance for long-lasting structural support of driveways, floors, pool decks and industrial slabs.

Key Features

Lifts & levels concrete
Expands under slabs to fill voids and raise them back to grade.
High strength, light weight
Closed-cell foam supports loads without adding the dead weight of mud / cement.
Fast cure, fast return
Cream 4–6 s, gel 10–20 s — slabs are ready to use within minutes.
Water & chemical resistant
Closed cells resist moisture, chemicals and everyday wear under the slab.
Minimal disruption
Injected through small holes — no excavation, no damage to existing structure.
Wide working window
Applies from 0–50 °C ambient on standard high-pressure equipment.

Applications

Polyurethane slab lifting foam injection under concrete
Concrete Lifting in Action
PU foam lifting a settled driveway and garage slab
Driveways & Garage Slabs
Concrete slab lifting before and after with PU foam
Before & After
Polyurethane foam slab jacking of a pool deck
Pool Decks & Patios

Used for: driveways, sidewalks, garage & warehouse floors, pool decks, patios, factory slabs, road & airport pavement, and void filling under settled structures. Learn more in our slab jacking material guide. For thermal-insulation spray foam see our closed-cell insulation foam (SPC-10072).

Packaging, Storage & Handling

Packaging
Polyol and isocyanate supplied in iron drums; palletised for export. Bulk on request.
Storage
Keep sealed, cool and dry; isocyanate reacts with moisture. Use within shelf life.
Handling & Safety
Use PPE and ventilation; avoid eye/skin contact and vapour. Full MSDS on request.

Two Grades Available

Choose the blowing system that fits your market. The 100% water-blown grade is the eco, zero-ODP choice increasingly preferred in North America, Europe and other regions with HFC phase-down regulations — it is steadily replacing HFC-blown slab-lifting foam. The HFC-245fa grade (1801CC, described above) is still produced and remains available for markets without these restrictions.

Property Water-Blown (Eco) HFC-245fa (1801CC)
Blowing agent 100% water · zero ODP HFC-245fa
Cell structure Closed cell ≥ 90% (ASTM D6226) Closed cell
Core / free-rise density Core ≥ 40 kg/m³ (free-rise 35–45) Free-rise ≥ 30 kg/m³
Compressive strength ≥ 200 kPa (ASTM D1621) High load capacity
Compressive modulus ≥ 8 MPa (ASTM D790)
Water absorption ≤ 3% (ASTM C209) Low (closed cell)
Cream / gel time 3–5 s / 10–15 s 4–6 s / 10–20 s
Mix ratio (polyol : MDI) 100 : 100 100 : 100
Thermal stability ≤ 3% (−30–80 °C, ASTM D2126) Dimensionally stable

Both are two-component, injection-applied closed-cell systems for concrete lifting & void filling. Tell us your project and we recommend the grade. Typical values for reference, not a binding specification.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does PU slab lifting work?Small ports are drilled in the slab; the two-component foam is injected, expands to fill voids and compress the soil, and lifts the slab back to level — usually within minutes.
Why is it better than mudjacking? It is far lighter (≥30 kg/m³), uses much smaller holes, is waterproof closed-cell, cures in minutes and will not wash out or re-settle like cement slurry.
What is the mix ratio and blowing agent?1:1 by weight (polyol : polymeric MDI), premixed with HFC-245fa. Cream time 4–6 s, gel time 10–20 s.
Do you supply the injection equipment?Yes — matched high-pressure machines and application support are available. We reply within 24 hours.
